Worship that Celebrates  God, Who Loves Us As We Are

You won’t find any of that “fire, damnation, and brimstone” kind of religion here!  God is to be celebrated, loved, and respected, not feared!  Our worship includes inspiring messages and dynamic, lively music.  Holy Communion is offered at each worship service to all who attend.

QSpirit

If Scripture doesn’t mean anything to us today, it’s useless.  Every Wednesday night at 7 pm, this group gets together to laugh, learn, pray, and grow.  We take the Scriptures for the coming Sunday and look at it from a queer perspective. There’s always great coffee and great conversation to provoke you, make you think, and help you heal and grow.  For more information, contact Bob Kwater at 299-2509.

 

Singles

Our newest group.  It’s for single queer folk who get together for soulful conversation and spiritual support that you can integrate into every part of your life in preparation for that special someone God has planned for you.  The Singles group meets the first and third Sundays from 1:00-3:30 pm.

 

Praise Singers

If you like to raise your voice for the truth and set it to music in praise of a God who is on our side, then this group’s for you!  Led by our Director Music, these folks are devoted to God, one another, and energetic music to enhance our worship experience.

 

CHEF

CHEF stands for Church Hospitality Encourages Friendship.  We love to get together to cook, eat, and have a great time!  If this is you, then you might be perfect for this group!  Led by Mr. Kenn Donaldson, our CHEF group coordinates our monthly birthday celebrations, second-Sunday carry-in dinners, and food for special events.

 

Git-R-Done

We believe that God calls us to do, not watch from the sidelines.  If anybody knows how to have fun while raising money for the church and its ministries and supporting one another in the meantime, these folks do!
